Rules for challenging low temperatures

7:30 am. Wednesday, December 18th. Days go very slowly and Christmas holidays never arrive. Yet more, you have just waken up feeling that it’s Thursday but your cell phone has brought you back to real life. No, dear, it’s Wednesday. And what’s more, it also announces that there’s hardly one degree Celsius, although there is a radiant sun above us. Having this, the fashionista spirit inside my persona gets into a great debate. Today is not the day to be inside a pair of jeans and the first boots and sweater that I find in my closet. Absolutely not. Because I haven’t had the best kick off this morning, let’s put a bit of energy on this day with a riskier outfit. Skirt or dress… and bare legs! Now it’s time for you claiming about my insanity, because I haven’t worn the first pair of tights in this winter season yet. So for freshmen here you have the rules to follow in order to not perishing with freezing in the attempt.
Rule 1. Wear a midi skirt because above the knees your legs feel cold strongly.
Rule 2. Combine it with a really good  wool sweater.
Rule 3. Get your feet warm with boots/booties and cozy socks.
Rule 4. Don’t forget coat, scarf and gloves.
Note: You sensitive to cold refrain from this practice in general. It’s not recommended if you have to wait for more than 15 minutes standing out in the open (in this case you can fight it with a long coat); if you walk, you will feel better. In cities like New York, Amsterdam, London, etc. which are completely opened to the sea and facing the north, you must be very brave to practice bare-legs in winter. These rules do not apply to places where they’ve forgotten about over-zero temperatures since weeks.
